Culinarians Helping Entrepreneurial Folks
A Recovery Focused Restaurant Training Program
We are more than just a restaurant training program; we are a transformative initiative dedicated to fostering a positive, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle centered around recovery. Our mission extends beyond teaching culinary and restaurant skills—we provide a supportive environment where individuals can rebuild their lives, develop professional behaviors, and cultivate the techniques necessary to secure and sustain full-time employment in the food service industry. By integrating recovery support with hands-on training, we empower participants to navigate challenges, embrace personal growth, and create a stable foundation for their future within the community.
“There’s more on the menu than just food.”
OUR MISSION
C.H.E.F. creates life changing opportunities by providing recovery focused restaurant training, mentorship, and leadership development for individuals who are in or seeking recovery, have insecure housing, or are involved in the justice system.
OUR VISION
Our goal is to provide people who want to enter the hospitality industry in a healthy, recovery supported environment and get out of the vicious cycle of poverty and addiction.
Our primary group of students includes individuals from halfway houses, sober living homes, those experiencing housing insecurity, individuals involved with the justice system, and anyone seeking a positive change and a supportive path forward. We are committed to providing not just culinary and restaurant training but also the encouragement, structure, and resources necessary to help participants rebuild their lives and establish a stable, sustainable future.
